Go the Distance

5k Aqua Color Run
When: Friday, May 8, 2020 Start time: 6:30 pm
The Color Run Adventure Challenge  is designed to be a fun, safe and challenging run for all ages and it is our hope that everyone will come out to enjoy the run, food, music and atmosphere of Go the Distance.

Cost: $25 which includes registration fee, a Go the Distance 5k Color Run t-shirt, color and obstacle challenges, music, and loads of fun! Must register by 4/30/20 to get a t-shirt.

The 5k Aqua Color Run course is designed with EVERYBODY in mind. It will stay on the Del Oro High School campus and not venture out onto public roads and will be well manned throughout making it the ideal course for the youngest of up and coming distance runners.



24 Hour Relay               

Date: May 8 - 9                                                                                                                                                              

Start time: 2:30 pm

Divisions: There are 6 divisions:
Ultraman- One solo runner/walker.
Open Adult- Maximum 10 participants any combination of male or female 15 and older.
Adult Women- Maximum 10 female participants 15 and older.
High School- Maximum 10 high school students any combination of male or female.
Loomis Middle school- Maximum 20 middle school students any combination of male or female.
Staff teams- Maximum 20 participants any combination male or female.(LUSD and Del Oro only). 

Cost:  The entry fee for all Relay teams is $1000 with the exception of Staff teams which are $200.                     Ultraman is $500.

Age requirement: The minimum age to participate on a 24-hour relay team is 15 or enrolled in high school. LUSD Middle School students are the only exception to this rule and they may participate on 20 person middle school teams only.

How it works: One runner per team may be on the track at a time and must carry the team’s timing chip that records the completed laps. Runners may pass the chip to another team member whenever they choose but must be in the transition area just past the start finish/line. At the start finish line there is a timing chip scanning mat on the track.
