Although the forecast appears to be showing improvement over the next few days we are not 100% confident that the smoke will be completely diminished. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Current registrants will have the option of participating on February 17th or deferring their registration to next year’s race. As a result of current sign up levels we will be increasing the number of finisher medals for half marathon finishers.
Additionally, in an effort to focus on those who have suffered a loss as a result of the Camp Fire, we will be doing a gift card drive for the Paradise School District students the day of the race. More information on this effort will come out prior to race day.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience. Please continue to keep the victims of the Camp Fire in your thoughts and prayers.

As a community, the staff, students, and parents of H. Clarke Powers School strive to exhibit the characteristics of the Learner Profile attributes. In addition, each month at our Kodiak of the Month assemblies, we recognize a student from each classroom that has gone above and beyond to exemplify the Learner Profile characteristic for the month.
The attached list will help prepare your child for the upcoming school year. This list is a voluntary contribution by each family for their student. As we move through the year we hope this list will meet all student needs for the year. As needed, teachers will keep you updated as we work together for a great 2018-2019 school year.
A big "Thank You" to our parents and staff who helped to spruce up the garden this weekend. We really appreciate all of your time volunteering to help make a difference for all of our students here at H.C.P.
